Center for Irish Music

The Center for Irish Music's seventeen teachers instruct year round for instruments such as fiddle, whistle, flute, harp, piano, concertina, guitar, accordion, uillean pipes, and traditional song in English and Gaelic. Their students have competed in Fleadhs (music competitions) around the US and have studied abroad in Ireland.

The Center is a non-profit organization with 501(c3) status that banded together in 2004.  Together with its 80+ students, The Center for Irish Music is supported by grants from MRAC (Minnesota Regional Arts Council), and by the Irish Fair of Minnesota through their Legacy fund.

A big thanks to our community and supporters for a great 2010 All Star, All Staff Faculty Concert!
